I was told to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed in 1993 for better dental health. I was always scared of dentists and have extreme anxiety/fear. And also there was a general perception towards dentists performing unnecessary work by using fear tactics. Well, fast forward 3 decades and due to the pain I decided to visit this newly opened dentist in Waterdown for an Initial check-up and assessment. Dentist Viren Patel explained very thoroughly the condition of my dental health and what needed to be done and gave me several options for what needed to be done. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO SCARE TACTICS. It was after a full assessment I gathered the courage to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed under local anesthesia only. An impossible task for me, I willingly allowed Viren Patel to proceed with extraction. He was absolutely gentle and I felt no pain at all. One tooth was very complicated to remove but Viren’s expertise made it a breeze for its removal. Despite my extreme fear and anxiety, Viren was very confident in what he immediately planned for my extraction. I didn’t even realize that he had removed all 4 wisdom teeth while I enjoyed my music and laughing gas. Viren handled everything with utmost precision and compassion. I very highly recommend Waterdown Smile Spectrum Dental. His support team/staff are also amazing and the ambience is absolutely bright, welcoming and pleasant. I am so happy, my 3 decades of ordeal is all over today. Kudos to dentist Viren Patel and his skills. I am glad I visited him today.
